AI marketing audit
Everyone is implementing AI in marketing right now. For some it cuts costs, for others it creates the appearance of work. The audit separates one from the other.
- Price
- from $1,500
- Duration
- Two weeks

The money is already in AI. The return is not yet
According to Gartner, in 2026 CMOs put an average of 15.3% of their budget into AI. Only 30% consider themselves ready to scale these initiatives, and 70% admit their processes are not mature enough yet.
Europe looks similar. In McKinsey's State of Marketing Europe 2026, only 6% of marketing leaders rate their company's gen AI maturity as high. Those 6% already save more than 20% and reinvest it in growth.
In 2025 MIT researchers reviewed more than three hundred deployments and reached an uncomfortable conclusion: most generative AI pilots never produced a measurable impact on profit. The 95% figure was widely disputed afterwards. What separates the projects that work was disputed much less: they are tied to a specific workflow, a measurable outcome and a person accountable for that outcome.
The audit exists so that your deployments end up among those that count money, not among those that look good in a demo.
What is included
Process review
I walk the whole marketing chain: content, advertising, analytics, customer work, reporting. I look at what is done by hand, what is automated and what it all costs.
Five implementations with the maths
Five specific points where AI saves money or time. For each: what to implement, what the tool costs, what is saved and when it pays back.
A 30-60-90 day plan
The order of implementation: what comes first, what comes later, what to drop. The plan is built for your existing team, no new hires required.
Two weeks, day by day
Days 1–4. Process map
I walk the whole marketing chain with your team and record how many hours and how much money each step takes. Usually this alone shows where manual work eats the most.
Days 5–9. Selection and numbers
Of all possible deployments I keep five that have a clear workflow, a measurable outcome and an accountable owner. For each I calculate cost, savings and payback period.
Days 10–14. Plan and handover
I build a 30, 60 and 90 day plan and walk your team through it so it runs without me.
What you leave with
- A document with five implementations: tool, cost, savings and payback time for each.
- A 30-60-90 day plan your team can execute on its own.
- A list of what not to implement: where AI creates the appearance of work instead of results.
Who it is not for
- Anyone who wants to "implement AI" because everyone else does. If there is nothing worth automating in your processes, I will say so instead of selling an implementation.
- Teams with no marketing to speak of: AI speeds up existing processes, it does not replace their absence.
- Anyone expecting a miracle for pennies: real savings are counted in hours and money, and they are usually more modest than vendor presentations.
Questions people usually ask
Why an audit if we already use ChatGPT?
Most likely, that is exactly why. When every employee uses AI in their own way, the savings stay in their personal time and never reach the business. The audit turns scattered habits into a process you can measure and repeat.
Do you sell any tools?
No. I take no commissions from vendors, so I recommend what will pay off for you, not what someone profits from selling.
What if it turns out we do not need AI?
Then the report says so. It is a common and useful conclusion: it saves money that would otherwise go into subscriptions and integrations with no return.
Who will implement it?
Your team, following the plan. It is designed for the people you already have, with no new hires.
What about visibility in AI search?
It is a neighbouring topic, and I look at it in the audit too: how ChatGPT, Perplexity and other models describe your business when a customer asks about your niche. According to The CMO Survey 2026, 40% of companies already practise generative engine optimisation (GEO). The rest are leaving that space to competitors for now.
Is it safe to share data?
The audit needs no customer databases. Process descriptions, anonymised examples and figures on time and cost are enough. I sign an NDA before starting if needed.
